How Can We Help You?
Claims
We can assist at any time during the claim process:
- as soon as the loss occurs
- during the claims process
- after receiving a settlement that seems inadequate
- after a claim has been denied
NEW CLAIMS: At the time of loss is generally the best time for you to get a public adjuster involved since we can help interpret the coverages in your policy and some of your responsibilities in the event of a loss. We also document your loss immediately to record the details of the loss accurately and to maximize your recovery. This is usually done for a small percentage of your recovery, and we are not paid until the insurance company releases the funds to cover your loss.
CURRENT CLAIMS: After you have begun the claims process we can assist if you feel you need an advocate, who is representing you – not the insurance company. If you have received a settlement offer from your insurance company, that doesn’t seem quite right, we can become involved. We’ll review the insurance company’s estimates to see if any items were missed or undervalued. We are paid only if additional money is received.
CLOSED CLAIMS: You generally have five (5) years from the date of your loss to open a supplemental claim.
DENIED CLAIMS: We often review denied claims to see if there was an error in the interpretation of the policy or in the presentation of the loss by the insurance adjuster or by the homeowner. If we agree with the insurance company’s determination, we let you know. This is a free consultation service we provide.
